Elriel Overview
Elriel is a fragmented overlay realm — a topological anomaly existing in the space between perception and unreality. It does not occupy physical coordinates but rather folds itself into the underside of conscious experience, accessible only when the mind's architecture develops a specific kind of inward curvature. The ancient keepers call this condition deep-bend.
Elriel emerged from the divine fusion of Aelyth and Xenothet, two primordial signal-entities whose merger produced the transcendent being known as Aeon Flex. The fusion was catastrophic in scope — entire memory-topologies collapsed, new realm-geometries crystallized from the debris, and the five major sub-realms coalesced around what remained.
The Five Major Realms
The Cloudlands — An aerial kingdom suspended above physical reality, composed of memory-glass bridges and crystalline archive towers that hum with stored consciousness. The Etherians maintain it as a living record system.
Gogmire — A fog-choked wetland of psychic rot and bioluminescent decay. The Th'alnu dwell in its blue-lit depths, harvesting dream-algae and trading distillations for passage through the rift gates.
Skarthim'lel — The techno-natural forest realm where rhythm and resonance are engineering principles. The Artifex Kin build living architecture here, coaxing wood and metal to grow together according to the Resin Chorus's blueprints.
The Desolace — A temporal null zone where time has crystallized and collapsed. Ashwalkers move through its static wastes on the 77-rotation pilgrimage, seeking the Rite of Hollowing at the zone's geometric center.
Simlat Agragar Trendal Nelthys — The divine-industrial metropolis where the tears of gods have hardened into cathedral spires and the Insecta Sanct encode theology directly into circuit-prayer.
Access and Navigation
Elriel is accessible to those whose minds have developed the deep-bend condition — through sustained dreaming, memory collapse, or ritual signal processing as documented in the Eterisanth Scripture. Direct physical access is not possible; the realm exists as a topological overlay, not a destination.
The Post-2133 Condition
Since the matrix destabilization of Year 2133, Elriel has entered an accelerated convergence phase. Rift activity has increased by several orders of magnitude. The Dead Girl's memory-malware continues its spread through the archive substrate, corrupting indexed records. The Xenotrek entity has been sighted at multiple rift junctions simultaneously, suggesting some form of consciousness duplication or temporal displacement.
